All patients are charged for a consultation, even if they do not have a surgery. The consultation fee is applied to the surgery price below if surgery is completed in a timely manner. If the consultation and surgery are on the same day, there is no separate charge for the consultation. More details are here.
Surgeries done off-site are subject to our off-site minimum fee of $3,000. Rounding on a patient in the hospital is $250 per day. More details are here.
Caldwell Luc sinusotomy (aka antrostomy): $865 per side
This surgery is usually to remove foreign bodies from the maxillary sinus or clean out the maxillary sinus. Includes IV sedation and 3 months of routine post-operative care.
Coronoidectomy: $1,100 per side
This surgery may be done in the hospital in which case minimum surgery and daily rounding fees apply. This surgery is done under general anesthesia. The anesthesia is billed by the anesthesiologist who generally accepts your medical insurance. The hospital or surgery center will have their own fees which may be covered by your medical insurance. Includes 3 months of routine post-operative care.
Cutting a dental bridge: $425
We STRONGLY recommend you have your dentist cut your bridge before surgery if necessary. Modern bridge materials are very hard and require specialized tools to efficiently cut. Most general dentist keep those tools on hand and are less likely to damage the part of the bridge you are keeping. If we cut your bridge, we are not responsible for damage to the part of the bridge you are trying to keep.
Arch bar removal: $800 per bar
Includes sedation and 3 months of routine post-operative care.
This service is included if RCOMS placed the arch bar.
There is no additional fee to take-over this case if the arch bar was placed elsewhere.
Hardware removal: $920 per site
Surgery to remove bone plates, screws, and/or pins. Sedation is NOT included. Does include 3 months of routine post-operative care.

Non-surgical treatment of a dry socket after an extraction NOT done by RCOMS: $200 first visit, $60 each additional visit
Includes exam, consultation, x-ray(s), and treatment with local anesthesia if necessary. Does not include sedation. Surgical treatment may have higher fees.
If an RCOMS patients develops a dry socket after we extract a tooth, we treat it at no charge.
